Form and Function Pottery Exhibition

The North East Northern Potters Association supports all potters in the region regardless of what stage in their career they’re at. We have many styles of ceramics shown from our members from sculptural to functional yet they all have two things in common. Form and function. 
 
A pot can be functional, teapots, plates, clocks, all serve a purpose and that purpose must be met before the final form is decided upon. 
 
A sculpture must also serve its purpose before taking form. Size, hanging, stability, outside or inside, all must be thought about before the artist starts to create.  All pieces are for sale and there’s something for all tastes and price ranges.
