About the artist:

Laura Marley is an artist and ceramicist based in the North East of England, having trained in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design and at Sunderland University MA Glass and Ceramics. Looking at what objects tell us about past environments, cultures and events, Laura uses clay and the process of turning material into new objects to explore how we can learn about our current environments and selves.
