It is finally time to start cataloging the finds recovered this September by the Jarrow Archaeological Mission. This means washing, sorting, weighing, marking, accessioning and maybe even doing a sneaky little bit of research.
Post-Excavation work is the part of archaeology you typically don’t see, and is suited to people you enjoy a calm, indoors, more tea-centric archaeological experience.
We’ll be holding sessions on weekdays from the 3rd until the 14th of November, which you can sign up for using the museums ticketing system, meaning that if you would like to sign up for multiple days you will need to reserve a new free ticket for each day.
