We are delighted to be joining other museums this week in announcing that Jarrow Hall has been awarded £38,669 from the Government Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) Museum Renewal Fund. The funding comes at a critical time to support museum resilience and allows us to continue engaging volunteers and maintain core museum running costs.

Jarrow Hall is very lucky to be one of the 75 UK museums and galleries receiving funding from the Museum Renewal Fund this year, and it’s lovely to see our neighbours at Sunderland City Council and Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums also benefit from the award.

We are grateful to DCMS and Arts Council England for helping Jarrow Hall to continue to enrich lives through culture and heritage. Read more about the Museum Renewal Fund on Arts Council England’s website.
