Overview
Groundwork North and South Tyneside Jarrow Hall, with funding from Arts Council England, would like to invite community engaged artist applications for a position as Artist in Residence from April 2025 to March 2026. The aim of our Discovering Inspiration project is to encourage and support people of Jarrow and South Shields to explore their creativity. The residency will involve delivering 9 public workshops throughout the year, culminating with an exhibition at Jarrow Hall in February 2026.
Budget
The fee for this commission is £5000, which will cover the cost of materials, preparation and delivery time, exhibition collaboration and installation work. Payment to be paid in instalments and will be discussed with successful artist.
