Artist Workshop

Our Discovering Inspiration programme kicks off this Sunday 23rd March during ✨Ostara✨ with the first of 9 workshops led by our new artist in residence, Laura Marley.

Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm for the workshop – where you can sculpt your own pinch-pot animals and make beads and other charms using Jarrow Hall clay. Let any small pieces be dried out by the village fire and taken home after!

About the artist

Laura Marley is an artist and ceramicist based in the North East of England, having trained in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design and at Sunderland University MA Glass and Ceramics. Looking at what objects tell us about past environments, cultures and events, Laura uses clay and the process of turning material into new objects to explore how we can learn about our current environments and selves.
