Carve your mark on Thirlings!

Expert woodworker Mark will be back to teach volunteers how to make Anglo-Saxon furniture. This session volunteers make benches and a new firebox for Thirlings – just in time for our spooky Hall’oween events!

These workshops are free in return for 1 day a month volunteering for the project – funded by lottery players through the National Heritage Lottery Fund.

We are open:

10:00am – 4:00pm daily
Please note: We are closed for a few weeks over winter but your ticket pass can be used for a full 12 month period.
We are open additional days during South Tyneside School Summer Holidays.
