Our Artist-in-Residence and monk, Andrew, will guide you through an immersive scriptorium experience. Try your hand at the tools and techniques used by the monks of Saint Paul’s Monastery 🏛️
Create your own beautiful calligraphy and illuminated illustrations 🎨📖

🏡 Living History Village
Relax in our reconstructed Anglo-Saxon village and watch history unfold before your eyes. Chat with villagers, ask questions, and even try your hand at everyday tasks from the past. Our volunteers are leading in a herbology workshop to show you how mead was brewed over 1000 years ago🔨🧺🔥

🍯 Mead Tasting (18+ only)
Saint Aiden’s Winery joins us for a special mead tasting experience 🍷
Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed and engaging lecture on the life of Saint Bede 🗣️📚
