Zooarchaeology Farewell Event

Join us at our Zooarchaeology Farewell Event on Thursday 6th November to celebrate the end of our latest exhibition, ‘Zooarchaeology: animal stories told through bones.’

The exhibition, which opened in August, was developed with PhD student Megan Leake (Newcastle University and Durham University through the Northern Bridge Consortium). It explores Megan’s research into the animal bones that were excavated here in Jarrow and what they tell us about Anglo-Saxon life at St Paul’s monastery.

We warmly invite passholders to hear a bit more about the exhibition and catch it before it closes!
